| • July 6, Zhongtian Group holds their second board meeting of first session conference in Qingdao, releases the new ticket pricing policies with regards to clear-cut discounts. The notice was issued to all participating airlines and the Civil Aviation Administration of China. |
| • July 15, the founding conference of the airport authority and the reestablish rules and regulations of the airport headquarters is held in the conference room on the third floor of Heaven Palace, and the Jinan Airport Authority Co. is officially founded. The main task for this company is to direct the second phase of work on Jinan Airport’s reconstruction. |

| • November 8, with accordance to recommendations from the provincial party committee, the airline enters into a corporate-civil alliance with Shandong Theatre of the Performing Arts. Deputy provincial party secretary Wu Aiying attended the event. |
| • November 10, the Air Cargo Centre for Shandong Airlines International opens in Qingdao. This is the key part of the company’s strategy in establishing the “three centres” in Qingdao, namely, the Training Centre, Flight Maintenance Centre, and the Air Cargo centre. |
| • November 28, Dongying Airport, operated by Shandong Airlines, opens. |
| • December 22, A D-class aircraft is unveiled by the Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. The company following the aircraft maintenance company from Beijing, Guangzhou and Xiamen becomes the fourth company in China to have the capability of helping airlines maintain and repairing B-737 civil aircraft. |
