| January 22, Press Conference on Satisfaction Evaluation Report of Civil Aviation Passengers 2008 & the 16th Anniversary Celebration for this satisfaction evaluation was held in Beijing. Shandong Aviation Group was awarded ‘Outstanding Services Provider for Irregular Flights’ by Civil Aviation Administration of China. It is the 2nd time that SDA received this award. |
| February 10 to 13, SDA took part in ‘Qingdao Caravan Tourism Promotion’ sponsored by Qingdao Municipal Tourism Bureau. Promotion activities were held in 12 cities (Weihai, Yantai, Dongying, Jinan, Zibo, Liaocheng, Dezhou, Tai’an, Laiwu, Jining, Zaozhuang and Linyi) in 4 routes. As the only airliner and one of the 3 major speech-giving units, SDA gave a theme speech in the promotion. |
| February 19, Signing Ceremony & Press Conference for the cooperation of ICBC (Shandong Branch) and SDA was held in ICBC Mansion. Feng Gang (Chairman of SDA Board & President) and Shen Rongqin (President of ICBC Shandong Branch) signed on the cooperation agreement. In accordance with this agreement, ICBC (Shandong Branch) would provide SDA with RMB5 billion (intended amount), symbolizing a new era for the cooperation between the two sides. |
| February 24, Foundation Laying Ceremony for SDA Blue Sky Garden at Jiangshui Spring——a residential project was held. Approved on Aug. 4, 2007, Blue Sky Garden consists of six 11-storey residential buildings with a site area of 45.48 mu (or 30320㎡), gross floor area of 54,400㎡ (residential: 40,000 ㎡, underground: 13,000㎡ and public: 1100㎡). |
| February 23, forenoon, Signing Ceremony & Press Conference for the cooperation of Air China Cargo Co., Ltd. and SDA was held in Air China Cargo Plaza. Feng Gang (Chairman of SDA Board & President) and Yao Jun (General Manager of Air China Cargo) attended the ceremony. Su Zhongmin (Deputy General Manager of Shandong Airlines Co., Ltd.) and Gu Dongfeng (Deputy General Manager of Air China Cargo) signed this cooperation agreement. Thus, SDA and Air China Cargo reached an agreement on the joint operation of the flights departed from Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, Beijing, Chengdu, Tianjin and Hohhot. An entrusted management model would be adopted for sales with a distribution principle of ‘minimum income with profit sharing’. |
| March 13, ‘National Games’ colored aircraft specially made by SDA for the 11th National Games was completed. Huang Sheng (Vice Governor of Shandong Province & Vice Director & General Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the 11th National Games) and Feng Gang (Chairman of SDA Board & President) attended the ceremony. ‘National Games’ aircraft was mainly used for the flights from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing and other cities (once held National Games) to Shandong. In addition, it flew several routes in accordance with the requirements of Shandong Provincial Government and Organizing Committee of the 11th National Games. |
| March 15, Jiang Yikang (Secretary of Shandong Party Committee), Jiang Daming (Governor of Shandong Province) and some representatives of NPC and CPPCC flew from Beijing to Jinan on ‘National Games’ aircraft. |
| March 16, SDA held the Mobilization Assembly on Learning and Practicing Scientific Development Concept in SDA Mansion. Li Hanrun and Cui Xin (Secretary and Division Chief of the 7th group of Shandong Enterprise Learning and Practicing Guidance) respectively attended the assembly. In accordance with the plan of Shandong Provincial Party Committee and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of Shandong Province, SDA conducted activities on Learning and Practicing Scientific Development Concept from March to August 2009. |
| March 24, Xiamen Subsidiary of Shandong Airlines Co., Ltd. was established. Xia Xinghua (Director General of Civil Aviation Administration of East China), Pei Jinjia (Deputy Mayor of Xiamen) and Zhang Xingfu (Secretary of SDA Party Committee & Chairman of Shandong Airlines Co., Ltd.) attended the inauguration ceremony. Relevant leaders from Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Air Traffic Management Bureau of CAAC, Civil Aviation Administration of East China, Air Traffic Management Bureau of CAAC (East China), Air Force of Nanjing Military Area, Municipal Party Committee of Xiamen, Xiamen Municipal Government and Xiamen International Airport Group Co., Ltd. were also presented at the ceremony. |
| March 24, accompanied by Zeng Guoqiang (Vice-president of SDA), Su Zhongmin (Deputy General Manager of Shandong Airlines Co., Ltd.) and Liu xiaonan from Xiamen Subsidiary, Xia Xinghua (Director General of Civil Aviation Administration of East China) and Zhai Fuchao (Director of Xiamen Supervision Office) visited Xiamen Subsidiary (Dispatch Office, Flight Preparation Room and Dinning Room). Xia Xinghua met office clerks and learned the operation status of Dispatch Office in details. He praised the preliminary preparations of Xiamen Subsidiary and hoped that it would persist in strict safety management to ensure safe operation; perfect department structure and management; explore market to improve profitability and establish a sense of social responsibility to make greater contributions to the social and economic development of Xiamen. |

| April 16, Conference of Supervisory Board 2008 was held in the meeting room on the 31st floor of SDA Mansion. SDA Shareholder representatives, members of the Board and Supervisory Board attended the conference and directors were presented at the conference. | April 22 to 24, China-Japan aviation conference (a new round) was held in Beijing. With close consultations, Shandong Airlines Group was appointed to be the airliner for China-Japan flight routes. |

| May 18, an enlarged meeting of SDA Party Committee was held. On the meeting, Huang Enfang, Yu Haitian, Song Yuxia, Wang Fuzhu and Su Zhongmin were appointed to be the members of SDA Party Committee. Thus, the number of members of SDA Party Committee increased from 4 to 9. |

Shandong Airlines was recognized as one of the ‘Top 500 Most Valuable Brands in China’ again (Ranked 160). In accordance with the evaluation of World Brand Lab, the brand value of Shandong Airlines reached RMB5.089 billion with an increase of RMB913 million (the rank raised from 180 to 160). |

| October 30, Taiwan Subsidiary was established in Taipei. | December 25, 13:50 p.m., when the flight of SDA SC1156 landed in Jinan Airport, Shandong Airlines achieved its 15-year safety record finally. On December 26, the staff gathered together to celebrate this milestone moment for Shandong Airlines.
