Online Booking Information

I. Terms and definitions
1)Child: any person 2 years of age or over but less than 12 years old.

2)Infant: any person aged 2 years old or less.

3) Valid Identification: any certificate that a passenger must present to prove his/her identity while purchasing tickets and boarding the plane, in accordance to provisions from government authorities,
(such as a resident ID card for Chinese citizens, a valid passport for foreigners, a Home Return Permit for those from Hong Kong and Macao, a military officer card, police ID card, solider ID card, civilian cadre or retired cadre certificate, student ID card for minors aged no more than 16, household register, etc.)

4)Regular fare: the highest among selling prices of first class, business class and economy class tickets during any applicable period.

5)Special fare: any fare that is not the regular fare.

6)Ticket issue: printed air ticket with a reserved seat.

7)Ticket issue time limit: a passenger with a booked seat shall pay to get the ticket within the specified time limit. Otherwise his/her seat will not be kept.

8)Passenger fare: the fare applicable on the date when the passenger boards the plane. Once a passenger ticket is sold, the fare will remain unchanged even if the ticket price is adjusted.

II. Online booking instructions
1.Shandong Airlines online booking system is reserved for registered users of the Shandong Airlines website. If you are not a member, please register. Otherwise you may obtain information on flights and fares but will not be able to book a ticket.

2. Shandong Airlines online booking services
1) You can book Shandong Airlines' domestic passenger tickets.
2) Adult or child tickets can be booked. The booking of e-tickets for infants is currently unavailable online. Please buy an infant e-ticket at the Shandong Airlines' ticket office or ticketing agency, or dial 96777, the Shandong Airlines' customer service hotline, (0531-96777 for customers outside Shandong province) to book these tickets. You cannot book a ticket for an unaccompanied minor online. These tickets must be purchased at a designated Shandong Airlines' counter.

3. Seat cancellation
1)If booking record shows no payment has been made, the passenger may cancel the reserved seat online.
2)If booking record shows the ticket has been issued, the passenger may not cancel the seat but may go through ticket refunding procedures.

4.Endorsement
1)Ticket endorsement is currently not available online.
2) If the ticket is not yet issued, the passenger may cancel his/her former reservation and reserve a new seat.
3) If the issued ticket must be endorsed, the passenger must do this at a designated counter in accordance with the existing ticket endorsement procedures.

5.Restrictions
Any passenger enjoying special fares must respect and abide by the restrictions on such fares. Special fare restrictions in Shandong Airlines online booking system are shown in the table below, applicable to passenger tickets whose date of flight is on June 1, 2007 or any time thereafter.

Note: if any passenger (with special restrictions for passenger groups) applies for a ticket refund later than the departure time of the flight as stated on the ticket, such a refund will be dealt with as missing the flight; 50% of ticket fare shall be charged as the refund fee.

6. Child fare
1) The age of child is calculated at the time of travel.
2) A child aged is charged at 50% of the adult's regular fare and entitled to a seat.

7. Matters requiring needing attention:
1)In booking a round trip ticket, the time of the returning flight shall not come before the time of the departing flight.
2)In online booking, make sure the passenger information you have entered is consistent with the contents of the traveler's valid identification. Otherwise any consequences as a result thereof shall be borne by the passenger.
3) Please pay attention to any restrictions on the cabin you have booked. Otherwise any consequence resulting thereof shall be borne by the passenger.
