Introduction to and transaction at online check-in

In order to make passengers enjoy better-quality and more convenient self-service, Shandong Airlines Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “SDA”) presents online check-in business. Any traveler may conduct check-in on SDA E-ticket website. Before doing online check-in, you are advised to read the following terms of service. You need to accept the following terms unconditionally before conducting online check-in:

1. This service applies to all e-tickets issued by SDA, excepting interline-tickets, tickets with unreserved seats and tickets for international flights.
2. Applicable targets: adults and children. Adults refer to ordinary adults, excluding people applying for special services, such as VIP passengers, injured or sick passengers, disabled persons, disabled revolutionary servicemen, police officers, pregnant women, unescorted senior citizens and travelers requiring special meals. Children refer to those accompanied by adults only.
3. Infants and adult passengers with infants cannot conduct online check-in for the time being.
4. Online check-in is now available to domestic flights departing from Jinan Airport, and it will be gradually applied to other airports.
5. Check-in for flights departing on the next day may be conducted online after 13:00 each day. Online check-in will be stopped 2 hours before departure time. Tickets checked at the check-in counter may not be subject to online check-in. Any passenger must arrive at the security checkpoint 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
7. Luggage check-in cannot be conducted online. If any passenger who has completed online check-in has any luggage to be checked, he/she shall get to the airport at least 60 minutes before take-off to conduct luggage check-in at the airport SDA check-in counter. Luggage must comply with relevant provisions on security inspection, and articles including alcoholic beverage, knife and dangerous tools must be checked.
8. Boarding gate might be temporarily changed. After arriving at the airport, you are expected to pay attention to flight status display panel or consult personnel at SDA counter to determine boarding gate.
9. In case of any flight change, seat number may be changed accordingly and arrangement by working personnel shall be respected.
10. Air travelers shall strictly follow the provisions by competent government authority on valid certificates required for taking airliners, and make sure the legality and validity of their certificates. Travelers shall be held liable for any consequence arising from or caused by problems such as the discrepancy between the certificate and his/her real name or invalid certificate.
11. Anyone who passes himself as a passenger and conducts online check-in shall be referred to public security organ for further handling.
12. Under special circumstances including flight delay, SDA is entitled to pause the online check-in service.
